Palm Trees Motel

If I could give this a minus star I would. This was the most disgusting, filthy place I have ever had the displeasure to stay and should be shut down. A public toilet felt cleaner than here.

It looks like the place has never been cleaned. When I had a shower my feet stuck to the floor from all the grime of past users, I still feel shivers going up my spine from that horrible experience. We were driving through Palm Beach on our way to the Sunshine Coast and just wanted a cheap motel to get a little sleep. This one was right on the highway and appeared nice and clean from the outside. We paid and before entering were told we could not leave the air con or lights on while we were not in the room, and then taken to said room. It was horrendous. It was dirty, falling apart, the vanity in the bathroom was literally rotting in it's foundations, there were small bugs all over the end of the bed under the blankets, the blind was literally just hanging on by a thread. It would have been impossible to open them or even the window. Every single surface, including the walls were filthy. Even the roof was caving in. It was so bad, my wife refused to take her shoes off the entire time we were in there. Had we viewed the room before paying, we would never have stayed. The management was very abrupt and uncaring.
