Palms Food Court & Restaurant
With four different types of cuisine to choose from, you'll be spoiled for choice when dining at the Glen Waverly based 'Palms Food Court & Restaurant'. Four stalls serving Malaysian, Chinese, North Indian and South Indian food will fulfill all cravings for exotically spicy Eastern cuisine that won't hurt your back pocket.
The court is positively buzzing, which is reminiscent of the traditional hawker style food markets scattered throughout Asia. Be sure to try out the nasi lemak ( a Malaysian coconut rice dish served with pickled vegetables, egg, fish and chilli sambal) for only eight dollars fifty, or the Chicken 55 from the Indian stall.

hawker style food court with various asian food nationalities to choose form, including chinese, indian, thai, etc. No need to book, popular with locals, large carpark next door which is fine out of business hours. the chinese chicken and sweet corn soup is nice. mango lassi's nice. traditional chinese meals such as fried rice, spring rolls, etc. fast service. nice setting overlooking green parkland. if they had outdoor seating on back patio it would be nice. open 7 days a week. old looking place, not particularly modern and need of a facelift but adequate for just above take away style meals. lots of seating in a shopping centre style dining room. can be noisy.
Good for a quick informal meal- would not suggest the 'banquet room' for a big party- it is just the old steamboat area and is cramped and uncomfortable with wait staff unable to get around the table without making you push your seat up against the table. Better to just make a big table in the main area next to the glass windows- you get space and a view of the park
Have completely refurbished the interior looks great. Still the same great food.
Is worth a visit
Great place to take the family for some tasty sri lankan or chinese food. Can get pretty busy and loud but after you eat the food you will know why. Drink to take a while so order when you first get there. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but you will walk away happy as a pig in mud.
Just started coming here and it's great. You have a choice of three places: Indian, Asian and cafe. You order at the place you want, then they bring it to your table. The Indian place serves really nice naan bread, definitely order that. The Asian place serves meals between $10 - 12, very affordable and food is pretty good. Service is fast when you go for lunch, but I hear it gets quite slow in the evenings when it's very busy. On Thursdays they have a buffet which I have yet to try but looked amazing.
