The house sleeps 11 people comfortably, with four large bedrooms (main with 4-poster bed), three of which are in the main part of the house the other in a and a teenage retreat with en-suite and games room/5th bedroom with a separate entrance downstairs. The house has an enormous deck with gas barbecue and a fabulous stainless steel kitchen, and a rustic open fireplace. In May 2008 we are installing a big wood heater in the fireplace which will keep you warm and toasty on chilly winter days.

The place is nice (I've stayed there before) but the agent engaged by the management is so rude and unhelpful. It has put me off entirely. They are sloppy (they emailed me saying that the property was unavailable for the requested dates, and then later, when I called to clarify as it was still saying available on Stayz, they said they were looking at the incorrect month). They told me that I couldn't book the house and studio together, only by separate bookings - no problem. But then indicated that the people making the separate bookings 'must not know each other' and then wouldn't indicate when both the house and studio were next available together. All this, even though the Pamela's Beach House listing on Stayz lists "the studio" as an optional extra booking as part of Pamela's Beach House, as cut and paste from Stayz ...read more
