Paolo's Restaurant

Service is nice but food is mediocre. Had to send entree back as was not cooked and lasagne was not cooked fresh, it was more like bought in frozen and heated. I've never been to an Italian restaurant that did not cook pizza.

Great entrees & mains, desserts variable. It's a BYO. Although the initial impression is that this is an Italian restaurant, it has a lot of food which is "general Australian" - i.e. steaks & seafood etc. and not a pizza in sight! Nothing else in Picton comes close to this restaurant unless you prefer asian food.

This restaurant has always served me with great food, a little different to your usual Italian restaurant. I had the kangaroo the first time I went and it has me hooked! The waiters are very attentive and are able to explain or recommend any meal. I had the strawberries on crepes for dessert - there must have been a whole punnet of strawberries! Definitely great value for money.
