Having dealt with them for 10 years I can honestly say that going to the PNG consulate is the most disorganised and painful experience one can be made to endure.
The staff are and have always been unhelpful and evasive.
The new tourist visa requirements unfortunately mean everybody will be forced to deal with their rude and inept ways. All in all, avoid if possible.
