There's a saying, "happy wife, happy life" well the wife will be happy at Paradise Resort as the kids will be truly truly happy.
If your child loves the water, this is truly a wonderland. The entrance has a jungle gym which will can keep the kids 3-12 easily amuzed. There is also two major Kids Group activities (10-2) and (4-8pm) to look after the kids aged 0-2 and 3-12. Now my boy was 3 and being the youngest in the larger group was a little too much for him, as the activities in the evening were catered for kids 6-12 I reckon. But we got him out after 2hrs and that was long enough for him, he didn't really enjoy it and we never went back. But they are great for the older ones and can give the parents up to 4hrs ...read more
First time @ Paradise Resort Gold Coast (early Nov 2012), and we are glad we went.

We had a great time at this resort. We loved all the different pools and enjoyed just having some time out. The food was good and fairly well priced... compares in prices to pub meals I guess or maybe a little better. The kids club wasnt as good as we were hoping for though. My four year old didn't like it at all and I got a call to go and pick her up and my 9 year old didnt want to go back. THat was a bit disappointing really but everything else was great. The room we stayed in was a nice room. We enjoyed staying here and would definetly go back in the future. :D
i would return here because the room i stay in isnt as important to me as is the balance i can strike between a great holiday and a chance to do things without the kids around all of the time.
Adults need time out and so do kids. This place allowed us to leave the kids at the kids club in 3 hour slots and enjoy dinner out alone, a walk on the beach or a bit of alone time that i feel is important for parents on holidays with kids. Lets face it, its not always rosy taking the kids so enjoy the best of both worlds. Sammie can whinge about the 70's style rooms but im at seaworld resort now and the rooms are great but i miss the kids club that catered for 0-2 and 5+. I will return to Paradise Resort on my next visit to the Gold Coast.
