Paragon Hotel

At first glance I thought this place was basically a McDonalds, until I walked around the side and discovered the pub. All can I say about this place is that I have been to a lot better. The upstairs part is a lot nicer than the downstairs section, and the bar staff are pretty cool, however I wasn't really all that impressed with the security. Sure, I can appreciate that they are there to make sure that there isn't any trouble, however I can't think of anytime where I have seen a fight in a pub (and I've been to quite a few pubs). I reckon some of them have really got to lighten up a bit. Anyway, they do have cheap beers, and while the upstairs area is nice, it isn't open most nights. It isn't one of those places that I would be hurrying back to any time soon.

Was back here last weekend not that it has changed much since my last review a year ago in terms of decor but I do think they have lost some of their atmosphere. It was a Friday evening in circular Quay its usually really busy but the pub was almost dead. Pity as this could be a great venue!

Good service from the staff, and the food here is amazing. Good place to kick back and grab a few drinks.

I love their range of food, the cheesy wedges are a particular favourite of mine. Priced quite well, and located close to the station.

Somewhere different, its not like the other bars around the city. Its full Irish, with drinks and food. I quite like it here.
