Unfortunately, being in no real position to leave the house I'm currently renting, I am still renting from Paragon. It is a lovely house so there are no complaints with the actual property and obtaining the paper work when we moved in was simple and quick and painless.
However... my complaint is with the abhorrent customer service. I have had several occasions where it was important that I get in touch with our property manager. Our property manager is constantly making excuses, it takes ages and ages for any repairs to get done, and I must constantly e-mail and call to get any sort of attention drawn to the issues I am experiencing. We also had a bad experience with this company. We rented a property from them while our house was being built. Very slow to rectify issues with the house and an absolutely appalling experience on moving out. I definitely would not recommend this company
Hi Brad, thanks for your review. During our meeting you advised that unless we â??eraseâ??your bond deductions you would bad mouth us publically, but we are not up for being bullied in that way. Unfortunately when you donâ??t leave a property clean and return an item damaged we have a responsibility to the owner to ensure that these matters are rectified. If you felt your deductions were unfair you could have referred the matter to a third party for mediation as we advised, but you declined this option.
Hi there, this is not the case. We never even requested the bond deduction be reversed. Our issue was that when we questioned the charges the very first response was "take us to court if you don't agree". As mentioned above we don't see this as very good customer service
After a long period living in one of their properties, asking regularly for a green bin nothing was done. On moving out the process was drawn out and unnecessarily difficult. Had to take advice and threaten the agent with action to have anything proceed. Bought property now so don't have to rely on people like this, but everyone I have spoken to that deals with this company has complained about them. It would appear that 99.9% of their time is spent getting your cash and filling properties and then 0.1% of the time ensuring that they meet all the requirements of code. Should I ever need to rent again I would rather live in a box under a bridge than deal with this company again. Also they charged us for advertising the property even though they didn't advertise and the person who moved in was provided by us after we advertised.
