Had some lunch with friends recently. Apparently the place is under new management. Ordered carbonara pasta which tasted as it was actually not very fresh, and a salad with additional chicken. The kitchen forgot to add my chicken and I had to wait for them to grill it while my friends were eating. Outside courtyard was nice.
Ate there recently, food seems not as good as before.. I felt maybe they had cut costs.. I would prefer to pay more for the old food I used to get if there was a problem. Great menu, nice people and great atmosphere. I will go there again and give it a go, I hope they just had a bad day :)
My friends and I would come here once a week without fail to catch up over coffee.
It has great seating inside and a wonderful courtyard outside (which is where we would sit and could be as loud as we wanted). Often We'd just order a coffee, hot chocolate or tea etc. and I can reccomend every hot or cold drink on their menu.
Occasionally we would order food and it's all pretty brilliant. My favourites were buschetta and beer batter fries....none of us very much liked the banana crepes though.
The service was always efficient but not usually warm, but the delicious food and drinks made up for that.
