Park House Cafe

Lovely little cafe opposite Queen's Park. Lovely food, although can be on the pricey side. Good place to do business meetings or meet with clients.

It seems this cafe has really dropped in quality since we last visited over a year ago. We ordered a platter to share and what we received was a plate (not platter) with a few deep fried items and a hommous dip which was looking very tired and certainly not fresh. After complaining about both the quantity and quality of the food, given the price paid, I was told that their other dishes were more substantial (not sure what relevance this had to the dish I ordered) and that the price reflected the items used in the dish. It was quite clear that the ingredients certainly weren't 'premium' by any means and I've had platters at other cafe's/restaurants that were much more substantial and better quality.



There was no mention whatsoever of a reduction in price or gesture of goodwill. It seems this cafe counts on its good location to justify its prices and has given up trying to offer a good service and good value. I certainly won't be going here again.
