Parkers Of Turramurra

I visited the gift shop at Parkers Nursery on a Tuesday to get 10% off. The range of gifts is nice but they are overpriced and service is bordering unfriendly. The nursery is adjacent to the Easten Rd shopping village and there is dedicated off street parking. The gift shop is well lit and nicely presented. I purchased a bunch of silk hydrangeas which are a nice addition to my home decor.

An pretty nursery with a good selection of plants, a coffee shop and an attractive gift shop. After you choose your plants its worth stopping for a cup of coffee in the shade because I think someone local bakes some of the slices they have on offer in the coffee shop & they are very yummy. Just a word of warning - if you ring them, their phone message service says they are open every day, but thats not quite correct. Parkers are really open 7 days a week, but are closed on at least some public holidays (whereas some nurseries like Bonds are open on days like Good Friday and Boxing Day) ......so to avoid wasting time check they really are open before driving there on a public holiday.
