I moved to the other side of the city a year ago but I continue to visit parkwood green dental despite it being an hour away because I do not trust anyone else. The dentist I see explains everything and is so gentle. I used to feel really nervous about going to the dentist but now I have my teeth fixed Im not afriad. I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned! I don't normally write reviews but I want other people to know. Friendly staff, great dentist!
I must say that I have been putting off going to the dentist for years because of my fear of dentists. When I phoned the clinic, the receptionist was very helpful and got me in as quickly as possible. The dentist i saw was really thorough and explained everything that she was doing. It put me at ease and overall very pleasant experience!
I have been attending Parkwood Green Dental since late 2013. On my initial appointment a care plan was devised then actioned over 2 weeks. I spent over $1,000 which I did not have an issue with. My problem started when I had a composite restoration that had survived the prior 20 years attended to. The repair made by Parkwood Dental lasted a few months before becoming completely detached. The usual dentist was not there the day I attended and I have to say I was completely butchered. The Dentist even asked if I wanted anesthetic! The repair was done and once I was home discovered that half on my front tooth had been ground away and replaced with composite filling. It was the tooth next to it that required the repair. I came back again to see the original dentist as the composite repair was not shaped properly and she repaired it again. Each time I had to pay a couple of hundred dollars.
