Parramatta Farmers' Market was the first fresh food markets in Australia.
They took a 200 year break but they're back, just as you remember them!
The Parramatta Farmers' Market happen every Saturday between 9am and 2pm at Church Street Mall.
Expect fresh local produce, gourmet foods and more.

Nice market, however it has room for improvement.
There's only 2 produce stalls, with more and more food stalls appearing, so its great for lunch, but i'd rather more produce stalls. (and its not organic)
There's some lovely baked good stalls, and some cheese/salami guys (really good)
There's also a good amount of seating around for those to sit and eat, or banter.
These markets are one of my favourite things about visiting parramatta on Friday. The markets are vibrant with a really good atmosphere. I love to get lunch here, or stock up on artesian breads (and sometimes a delightful bakery treat). Other features are a florist, grocer and chess set. You can even buy meat from a butcher. I would like to see more stalls but those who come are consistent and quality
