Went here for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it - the food was delicious. However, the service was a bit slow and you need to order and pay at the counter which detracts from the experience, it can also hold things up if a big group comes in (which they tend to do at lunchtime on weekends). Considering how busy they are, I recommend they put more staff on for table service. Jacarandas outside are beautiful in Spring, however inside the cafe is quite minimalist with white everywhere. Given the pretty setting they could do something really artistic with their interior.
Disgusting food!
Ordered their famous king prawn pasta and pumpkin salad with extra avocado. Pasta came out just average. However, the salad was awful! It's basically just large amount of mushy spinach leaves with 1/4 rotten avocado, covered with some dried brownish vinaigrette sauce. It looks like someone's leftover. I buy much better salad from shopping supermarkets and at least the supermarket salad looks clean.
After making a complain, I was expecting they should at least change the salad for me, but a staff, who was not even wearing an uniform, came out and throw back the bowl to me and telling me the leaves look fine to them and they can't do anything about it. I was like, fine, for $12, I gave it to you. But that's not the right attitude of running a business.
Such a disgusting lunch and terrible experience! I won't go back there anymore although I live in Parramatta. Worst cafe in Parramatta area.
