Pa's Fish Cafe

Burgers were ok, not great but ok. We ordered a medium chips for 5.50 and got less than a handful of chips, very disappointing and probably won't be back for a long time.

This business doesn't get it.
Poor service, poor presentation,staff with negligible training and with very little appeal to a discerning customer. Wonderful location going to waste
We hope that this business has a reality check before it is too late.

I have eaten fish and chips from pa's before and it's usually fine- a bit of a wait especially on public holidays. But today is the day I've gone off them. We call in advance and arrive to pick up our order; only to wait another 20 minutes; then to be told that the order has been given to someone else. Then the docket for the reorder is lost- it's now 1 hour 30 minutes later, no food in sight and I am about to eat my arm off. No one is taking responsibility. I would not bother again.

If this cafe was located in the city, the view alone would increase prices! Whether sitting by the fire on a cold day sipping a hot chocolate and crunchy chips or sitting by the window on a sunny day and feasting on a fresh salad this location is a great place to be. Prices might be a bit high for the area, but the food is tasty and good portion sizes. Plenty of choices in both the food and drink menus. Recommended.
