Located in the area that I would call Devonshire Streets Little Village, Pasta Bros is known well by the locals and those who travel from Central station to its surrounding areas. It occupies a quite humble space with a coffee making area at the front, the fresh food bar in the middle, and the visible cooking area at the back where all the latest, automated cookery was made in charge.
While the place is perhaps mostly catered for takeaway orders, they also have a few tables and chairs inside the store as well as outside on the walkway.
We visited them for lunch and I tried their beef lasagna. It was pre-made, so it did not take them long to add more cheese on top, reheat, and serve it with a side salad. At $10.90, it was quite an enjoyable lunch item.
The staffs are very friendly and courteous, and with many people coming seem to already know them, Pasta Bros feels like a nice small business where I can see myself returning for more.
