Pasta Vera Cafe Restaurant

I am only reviewing on their breakfast service, we have not had lunch/dinner there. We used to absolutely love this place but it has really gone downhill over the past 6 months. The service now is absolutely appalling, portions are small, soggy bread, eggs & spinach not drained, oily/undercooked bacon, floury/raw corn fritters. We have been giving these guys the benefit of the doubt by coming back on-and-off over the past 6 months, even after TERRIBLE service, stuffed up orders etc. Today we got burnt by them yet again - when we arrived none of the wait staff even bothered to look at us, so eventually we went and grabbed our own menus (we know where they keep them because we used to go there so often!), after sitting there for another 10 minutes we finally had to ask the waitress to take our order - none of the staff had even looked at us yet! Always fresh, always good. A little on the expensive side but the quality is great.

Good luck trying to get a muffin before they sell out . Awesome.

The food's pretty good, but as mentioned above, the portions are small and the prices a bit steep for what you get. You'll find just as good (and probably better) "real pasta" at a number of nearby places.

Lots of variety, but fairly pricey and quite small portions which is always a bit of a disappointment.
