Pastizzi Cafe

This place is a local institution! Very popular for all its yummy pastizzis. Also a solid pasta menu with tasty offerings in generous portions. Had a delicious gnocchi special the other day which I can certainly recommend.

Old time favourite serving up a varying selection of savoury and sweet golden, flaky pastizzis. Today we had ricotta, chilli con carne, chicken and mushroom and salmon, ricotta and dill. All were delicious. Be sure to ask for a side of sauce - tomatoey and garlicky, it's the perfect accompaniment.

Oh yes! This place excites me! Brilliant. The pastizzi are incredible, and cheap and you can even take frozen ones home with you and cook in your own oven!! The curried vegetable is the best in my opinion

I seriously love the pasta here = the ravioli is absolutely creamy and buttery and theres nothing else like it. The atmosphere is warm and the customer service is attentive. Try to book as the locals love it here. The pastizzis are deliciously crispy.

Just went here last night and it was so so so amazing and affordable. Really great quality. Get the crab and prawn pasta!! and ravioli too!! (which are all handmade!) the pastizzi's themselves are soo delicious - the mushie peas being my favourite. Really love the atmosphere, and it is BYO which is great. Closes really late which makes you feel right in italy!
