Patee Thai Restaurant

I ordered takeaway on a cold wet windy night and it was delivered promptly via menulog. I love the green curry and the baked Thai custard egg tart. It's possibly the only Asian dessert I've enjoyed. I do enjoy coming in for a meal but it's nice to have the option of takeaway. Such cheerful, lovely service too.

The best Thai Restaurant in Prahran area. I tried several dishes and all of them were great. Oh and desserts are tasty too, don't forget them.

Highly recommend lamb massaman, it's the best - tasty and tender. Great service and ambience.

My Name is Kat and I am addicted to Thai. I am a Thai junkie, I am willing to admit I have a problem but I will not seek help as I truly believe it to be the best food on the planet (big call I know). Patee's is the ultimate. I told my friend I was looking for "Cheap and Cheery" for our catch up so we headed down chapel street on her recommendation. As soon as you step in the door you are surrounded by amazing statues, hanging beads and all things Thai. We sat in the upstairs section where you can sit on the Thai mats on the floor at first I was a bit put off (as I am very tall and not flexible) but once I settled in I was very comfortable and really enjoyed the whole vibe of the different lay out. (I understand sitting on the floor is not for everyone, but they have normal tables and chairs as well so don't worry).
