Waited over 1 1/2 hours before giving up and demanded my money back, just as well after seeing other guests meals. One fish dinner was only a small portion with 2 zucchini flowers at a cost of $26!!! Could have bought a kilo of fish for this amount, a ridiculous mark-up.
Have given this great looking pub far too many chances/visits but always lets you down.
Seafood plater(supplied by, our guess from a supermarket definitely not by their local trawlers as radio advertised)
Year after year this place runs out of oysters on a weekend despite being in the centre of Australia premium oyster growing districts, how the hell does this happen??
Inept wait staff.
Go here for the fantastic location and outlook and a drink, then head next door to the little shop for brilliant fish n chips, quite possibly the best on the central coast.
We, 4 of us, one in hospitality, asked for the Management, we informed them of the disappointment and they provided us with their personal business card for a complimentary meal for 4, that was over a year ago, we're not interested in returning for a meal .... ever.
Absolutely fantastic location. Overlooking the beautiful Patonga Beach and Broken Bay, the stunningly delightful position is a wonderful place to soak up the sun, enjoy some local fresh seafood and enjoy some of the delicious on-tap beers.

We stayed in rented house for the weekend and then went there for lunch. The food was normal pub fare. The garden was great, especially on a sunny day, and the views across the bay are fantastic. I would recommend the fish and chip shop next door, the chips are "proper" chips and made be homesick for the chip shops back in north east England.
