I live in NSW and wanted to send flowers to a funeral at Altona. Found Pauline's and the bad review posted. Thought I would try it anyway. Phoned and found them professional on the phone. I ordered a wreath which was delivered as requested and feedback was that the presence of the wreath from us was appreciated. Job done, thank you Pauline's.
Not happy at all with this florist.
I'm getting married later in the year and decided to pop in to get a business card and touch base. The assistant appeared to be stressed at the time and spoke down to me saying that they are way too busy to do quotes right now etc. I said OK and turned to leave only to have her make inappropriate comments about me.
If she were busy and granted Valentines day is approaching, then she could have just said so instead of speaking down to me in front of everyone.
Sadly I was recommended this store though I will not return.
If you are stressed or really busy then just say so. There is no need to be rude. In my line of work, if I spoke to people they way that I was spoken to today, I would get into so much trouble. There is just no need for it.
