Paynes Find Tavern & Roadhouse

My Husband n I are ecstatic with the service, friendly staff, beautiful breakfast & clean & appropriate accommodation provided by the Paynes Find Roadhouse after travelling 13 hrs with a 2 year old from Port Hedland & not being able to find anywhere decent to eat or sleep we pulled into the road house where we were greeted by a freindly smile. Highly reccomend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stop. They also have a gr8 little bar that is open late for a few drinks to kick back with :-)

Much improved - We stayed here a couple of years ago and it wasn't great - they were in the progress of upgrading however. We passed through here a few weeks back and while we didn't use the accomodation, we dined in the restaraunt/cafe and the renovation is amazing. The dining room was absolutely lovely, free tea and coffee provided, just wonderful. Food was fresh cooked and reasonably priced. Toilets were very neat and clean - a cut above other outback stops. I daresay the previous reviewer visited pre-renovation. Another traveller in the store was also astounded by the reno, he'd obviously not been past in a while either. I'd definitely stop here again, and if they've renovated the accomodation to the same standard as the dining, i'd stay here as well.

$120,00 dallers for a shed,dirty bathroom and heater would not work,oh and no door key!

Upon leaving ,bought a bacon and egg roll (I think thats what it was) $11,00 dollars each.

The two backpackers that where serving,they needed a wash and a smile.

Don,t waste your money on this dump!!!!!!! All us Aussies want is value for money! for the room to be clean and to have a key to your room! Oh and a smile!
