The therapists at PB Massage & Rehab PT want to help you find out why it hurts, not just 'take the pain away'. We are fascinated by the way the human body moves, the way it can be badly injured & still recover!

During a massage we will attempt to help guide the muscles, tendons & ligaments closer to the 'ideal' posture. The ideal posture is when all the joints can move freely, without pain or discomfort & within the normal range of movement. To help achieve this we manipulate & stretch the muscles, tendons & ligaments using various techniques from these different massage modalities:

-Relaxation Massage
The aim of a relaxation massage is as the name implies, to relax you, you may also have heard it called Swedish Massage. It may help to lower blood pressure & may reduce light tension headaches.

-Remedial Techniques
The aim of a remedial massage is to find the cause of the discomfort or pain and help your body to rebalance the muscle tension & bring you back to your ideal posture.

-Therapeutic Massage
The aim of a therapeutic massage involves similar techniques as in a relaxation massage to spread the oil & warm up the muscles but introduces narrower & deeper pressure.

-Deep Tissue Massage
-Reflexology
-Kinesiology And More

We also use massage techniques shown to us by various other health practitioners like physiotherapists & chiropractors.

We mix and match techniques depending on the condition of each individual muscle, tendon & ligament, therefore each massage is different. We investigate to try to find the cause of the pain. Pain is always caused by some dysfunction somewhere in the body, there are many reasons why we have dysfunction including:
