Pelican Childcare Coburg

It is one of the best centres. The educators (Lauren & team) have really helped my Son learn and grow throughout his time At Pelican. Well equiped centre, always clean. I would really Like to thank the director (Tamara) and Steph for their roles.

My son has recently gone off to school and I could not have been happier with the love, care and support my family received from Pelican Childcare.

I found their staff turnover to be very low, and seeing the same faces every day for 2 and a half years has helped my son to become a happy and settled prep child.

Tamara was wonderful, as were the rest of the staff there. We will miss seeing them every day now that we have moved on to Big School!

I was a very anxious first time mum, my 18month old needed to go into care as we don't have any family in Australia and I went back into work. I looked at so many centres in the area and didn't get a warm feeling. We finally came across Pelican Coburg six months ago and fell in love with the place and staff straight away. I am now pregnant again and feeling more at ease with enrolling my second one into there care. The centre is amazing. Highly recommend it to all families.

I had a disappointing experience with Pelican Coburg.This was my daughter's second childcare centre and I was surprised to see they were hardly any activities planned, nothing made for Christmas, Mother's day etc, staff was disorientated, noone knew anything. I had to tell them 1000 times about my daughter's allergy, so they can finally follow my instructions, which I thought it was shocking.



When I finally took her out of there (no goodbye, no annual folder with his paintings etc on last day), they continued sending me invoices and charging me. I had to call them and tell them that my daughter doesn't go there anymore. It took a while to get my money back as I have to fill in forms etc. I found it extremely unprofessional.



Do your kid a favor and look elsewhere.

we're first time parents & this is the first childcare centre we have used, but inexperience aside, I can honestly say we are continually happy at the level of service provided & the facilities themselves. Pelican treads the line between franchised operator & local provider, and does it well. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them, after all I trust them with my son...and he means the world to me!
