The place has changed, staff have changed and the changes did not impress me at all. I did NOT ask for Pelegrino Water (local shops $2 max but here $9) but it was placed on the table, opened and then another. $18 more than I expected to pay. The food was very good when it arrived, but service was slow - very slow. In short, I left far less happy than my previous visit and it will now be years before I dane to visit there again.
What ambience. Love it. Came here for a breaky and was surprisingly impressed. Service was friendly but the food was quite good. Tasty and properly cooked - not ovedone like many do. And the coffee was spot on. In the end, the cost did not bank rupt me either. Gotta say, I expected worse but am happy with what we received.
Booked Pelicans Landing for a Saturday night for a 'fine dining' experience in the west.
Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. Staff there was not friendly, not attentive and seemed to just provide the standard level of service that I would expect from a fast food restaurant.
Food was average and definitely not worth the price we paid for. Overall, poor service, average food which probably explains why there weren't many customers on a Saturday night.
This is a lovely place to have a function or lunch. There are wonderful views from the windows and balconies and the food is lovely too. Parking does get busy so come earlier to secure a spot and relax. Like many places with lovely views the food is a bit expensive but the dishes were good and they organised a cake for a birthday which was really cute.
