Pelicans Wharf
I would advise you to avoid purchasing food from here, I have been a local for 15 years and have been buying takeaway from here regularly.
Today I bought 2 local packs and was severely disappointed to receive a burnt piece of fish smaller than my fork. The fish also contained scales and was a different type compared to my wife's which was also small.
For a local pack I would be embarrassed as the management for the price we received 20 or so chips and a small piece of fish.
The takeaway area was disorganised and chaotic we were the second people in line and still had to wait 45 minutes with no back orders.
The management was Rude to the staff when they requested change and did not bother to assist them which meant customers had to leave to get change. The restaurant area had a very unpleasant seafood smell which was off putting enough. Sorry you have lost our patronage and all whom I know that used to enjoy your fish and chips.
Stopped here recently for lunch, as we had the dogs with us, being able to eat somewhere *out in the open* was very handy. While we did find the take away part of the *restaurant* quite busy, they did seem very disorganised. One half of our order was ready - and given to us, well before the second half of the order was ready. I ordered the Prawn Burger and while it was very nice I was rather disappointed to find that the prawns - while they had been cooked - were cold, I assumed like with a *normal* burger you'd get fresh cooked - warm/hot prawns. The chips were nice and there was a STACK of them. Over-all not too bad for food, but I doubt I'll be back, they just didn't seem to know what they were doing and there was some *bickering* going on in the back that us customers could hear....
