Pempek Clovelly
Pempek Clovelly is an Indonesian restaurant specialising in fish cakes, a dish originating from Palembang. This is a unique food choice, being the only restaurant in Sydney to serve this dish
These fish cakes can be cooked in a variety of ways and served alongside other Indonesian dishes. These include their famous gado-gado (Vegies with spiced peanut sauce), chicken noodles, Nasi Kuning (Yellow rice) with Beef Rendang, Martabak (egg pancakes), and many others.
Now under new management, the restaurant has teamed up with its former chefs to provide the quality food and service to its customers. EFTPOS is now accepted.
Open everyday 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m (Closed on Wednesdays, unless it is a public holiday).

This place is the only place I know which sell Indonesian Pempek (Fish Cake). Naturally since there isnt any other choice, this place is quite popular amongs the Indonesian community. However, if you want to have dinner there, make it a point to get there early as the place close around 8-8.30pm (which is awfully early for a restaurant)
