Indonesian Martial ArtThe Pencak Silat style Anak Harimau, which means Tiger cub or young tiger, has mainly been influenced by traditional Silat styles of Indonesia, which are rarely taught outside of their homeland. An important component of the training is the Silat style Harimau Minangkabau, which is an authentic tiger style of West Sumatra.
The first elements taught are the basic movements, which include postures, arm and leg techniques and basic falling skills.
