Serving up generous portions (something you don't often see at high end restaurants) of authentic Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner, 'Pendolino' serves as the perfect venue for your next business lunch, birthday dinner or romantic night out with a loved one.
Home made pastas, premium meats and fresh seafood all dominate the menu. Zoccali also has a great area of expertise in olive oil, and demonstrates this by choosing a different oil to suit each dish.

The pocket-sized Pendolino is a perfect little café spot amid the frock shops of the historic Strand Arcade. Of course, Italian never goes out of style. This place is absolutely beautiful. One of our friend works there and invited us for dinner as she gets a staff discount. The 4 of us shared all the dishes which was probably the best idea as they were so filling being so heavy. We shared 3 entrees and 4 mains and they were all lovely. My fave was the squid ink pasta, and my least was the pea lasagne.
It's very easy to get carried away as everything on the menu looks great, however make sure you are cashed up as they all add up in the end!
A good experience for a birthday dinner. I wanted to really love this place and the restaurant setting itself is beautiful but the food was not as amazing as I had hoped. The pasta in particular was a little salty for most of the people we dined with and I would have like a bit more freshness and variety in terms of textures and tastes. The bread basket to start was actually probably my favourite part of the meal (particularly the olive bread).
One of my favourites. Beautiful ambiance in a beautiful building. Delicious food. Excellent wine list. Fantastic service.
We usually eat there with other adults but recently took our kids for a special birthday. They treated the boys like princes. One of my sons is gluten intolerant and the brought him his own plate of gluten free bread at the start with separate oils to avoid cross-contamination. The boys loved the food as much as we do.
