I have found Dianne from Peninsula Dog Groomery very good. She treats my Rescue dog with dignity and respect. Diane provides a high standard and takes her time to get to know her dogs. My dog feels comfortable with her the whole time and I feel that I can trust her. She does not do rush jobs. When you go in to the grooming area I feel welcomed and always see what she is doing. She has a lovely pet friendly area. I have found her flexible and pleasant when dealing with her. Yes sometimes she does not answer her phone as she is dealing with one of her dog. Yes you do have to book in as she does have regular dogs now but she will try her best to give you a suitable time. I like taking my dog there and receive excellent service and results. I cancelled an appointment weeks ago and had a rude and abrupt call this morning asking where I was for my appointment. I explained that I had cancelled my appointment. The staff implied I was lying and got extremely aggressive over the phone - and I ended up hanging up on them. They said that they are the management. I am glad I cancelled as a person like this should never groom my beautiful pet. This business would have had a client for life as I only changed groomers as I moved. I am extremely disappointed.
Heidi, you booked your appointment with me on 13/9/14 as you tried to book an appointment with your usual groomer, but they didn't return your calls.
I am a sole trader who makes notes on everything and I did not receive any call from you cancelling your appointment. It is in my interest to record cancellations as i have waiting list and Saturday appointments are very much sought after. I even sent you an sms reminder text on Friday, the day prior to which you did not respond. I always call clients if they are late by 15 minutes so i can re-organise my day. I was not rude. It is unwarranted and uncalled for for you to shout and swear at me over the phone.
