If you are looking for a stereotypical dishonest car dealer, you found them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY here. They are dishonest and provide no customer service. Total cowboys steer clear!!!!

This is the worst and most dishonest business I have ever dealt with. They run their business by bullying. Read this review and take note and go to any other dealership in Sydney and you will have a better experience. Note CKD automotive also own Nissan Pennant Hills and dealership at Chatswood and Brookvale. If you are buying or serviceing your car this should be the first question you ask who owns the dealership. I had a major fault with my car that took over 3 years to fix and everytime I bought my car in they would break something else. Even Hyundai head office struggled to get these guys to play fair. I very rarely review busineses but these guys deserve a Choice Shonkky award or something. I was also told by Chris that cars only really last 6 years these days despite Hyundai's long warranty. They replaced my transmission then I later found out the issue was nothing to do with my transmission.

1. Told us on the phone they had a car in the colour & year model we wanted (found them from an online advertisement for said car)
2. Went there and they didn't have it
3. Then the sales pitch started for the next model up in the colour we wanted. Found the salesperson extremely pushy and took advantage of our lack of knowledge. Was very quick to get us to sign on the dotted line even when we tried to leave (I regret not leaving to this day)
4. What we agreed on verbally was not what the contract said, unfortunetly we didn't look over it with a fine tooth comb
5. They charged us more than the car was worth (confirmed by another Hyundai dealer who couldn't believe what we'd paid)

Don't recommend them at all. Have totally put us off ever buying a new car.

Took My car in to have gear box replaced came back with other problems that where not there. Have been told not their problem and I would have to pay.

I have a 2009 model Hyundai I30 diesel station wagon with 66000 km on the odometer.

19 Oct 2015: Left car at Barry Smith Holden/Hyundai, Pennant Hills, for routine 90000 km service plus rectification of poor cold starting. Advised them I suspected a glow plug problem. Picked up car same day (Cost: $989)
20 Oct 2015: Cold start worse than before. Service record reads: system reset.
