Penrith Ice Palace Skating Centre

My kids have done everything at this rink except for Broomall. Their prices are reasonable and they have some great coaches to teach in the Skate school, figure skating private lessons and ice hockey. I have never had a problem with skate school passes as they tell you when a lesson will be cancelled in advance and with three skate school classes a week I can usually make one up no problem.

My daughter has been doing the group lessons for a year now and absolutely loves it! The coaches and staff are wonderful. After reading another review about the cancelled lessons I had to make one myself. They give plenty of notice when there are cancelled lessons and it's never a problem as the passes are for 5 week blocks. They even make special 3 or 4 week passes if they have cancelled lessons

They have very bad customer service. They cancelled the lessons but did not provide any refund or compensation scheme. This happend a couple of times. I am not happy with their incompetent management. The manager she could not provide any helpful solution and she has a very cold tone when she speaks. It is not pleasant to deal with her. She gave me the impression that she does not care if you leave. I would look around to find another venue.
When you do your business you should think of your customer loyalty. Otherwise You won't grow in a long term. You are still there only because there is no competitor around you. However just wait and see when new business is open for ice skating you will loose your customers very soon. Another thing is when people have bad experience they could travel a bit further find another one easily.

Good place there are not many of there around anymore our local at blacktown is shut

and nor west is closing to the hillsongs :(
