Although the accommodation was comfortable, in no way were the staff. After being in the ICU at the Childrens in Randwick for the past week with our 5 year old, we desperately needed accommodation close by as nothing was available in the hospital. We had no idea how long our little girl was going to be in there for. My husband found this location on line and booked it from the hospital. We were finally told from the doctors that we were all able to leave, and so in the end, we only needed one nights accommodation, not the two originally discussed with the Lodge. When we arrived at reception my other half reiterated this to the receptionist. There was no problem. After leaving the following morning, we were charged for 2 nights, albeit a few days between transactions. The management has refused to acknowledge what unfolded and said, that theycannot help us. They have charged us for what has equated to more than 2 nights accommodation. Even in desperate ...read more
This Randwick accommodation facility is absolutely fantastic. I had to be close to my daughter at the Sydney Childrens Hospital and this hotel was great.
The rates are cheap, but the rooms are VERY CLEAN with great service from the staff. The next time I stay in Randwick I will definately be back here at Perouse Lodge.
