Great helpfull service. Ok you might pay a little more here for your trees.but beleive me its money well spent i am very happy with the quality of my Jaboticaba tree and Tamarillo trees.I live in Salisbury North and Virgina nursery is not far from me but i travel all the way to Mclaren Flat so what does that tell you
Good service, great range of fruit and nut trees but way over priced. I purchased 5 fruit trees last week at a total cost of $285. I have since check my local nursery where I could have purchased the same varieties, at the same age, of same quality and in some cases even the same brand for a total of $160 Pays to shop around. I know where I will be shopping next time.
Diana, myself and our staff are proud of our business and the unique service we provide to our customers. Yes, our prices are higher and we don't hide that fact. People who buy on price alone will go elsewhere. Our customers know they are paying more but also know where the value lies. This business is a success. Our customer base includes a high proportion of return customers many of whom have tried cheap nurseries. Our trees are never the same as you can buy elsewhere, even if they carry the same label. Many hardware stores and garden centres don't know how to maintain fruit trees properly. Deterioration can happen quickly and may not be obvious to the buyer. After 35 years we know where to go for the best stock. Diana and I have been growing and selling fruit trees for 35 years. We don't sell dud varieties. We help every customer with advice on pruning, spraying, size control, soil preparation, variety selection, rootstocks, dwarfing and pollination. ...read more
This seems to be the place to buy citrus but they have a wide range of plants so it's worth the drive out just to have a look. They provide valuable advice about when and how to plants and also ongoing maintenance. If you buy make sure that you join the mailing list so that you receive ongoing advice about pruning and fertilising.
