Afterhours Emergency Vet open 6pm till 8am weeknights and 24h over weekends and public holidays.

Perth Vet Emergency is the afterhours extension of your local general practitioner. We are a group of highly skilled vets and nurses who work in a purpose built hospital thoughout the night and on weekends to take care of your pets. There are between 4 and 10 staff members on the floor at any one time and so we are ready for anything. We keep in close contact with your GP so that they know how your pet has been and whenever possible, refer you back to them for follow up care. We are a full service hospital catering for urgent care circumstances (e.g. pet has eaten something it shouldn't have) to severe emergencies (e.g. snake bite, car accidents, collapse). We can perform emergency surgery, fluid therapy, ventilation, oxygen therapy, full in-house blood tests and imaging such as xrays. We have published a first aid book specifically for the pets of Perth to help pet lovers identify symptoms of urgent medical situations so that they can perform first aid and know when they need to see a vet.
