went to holdens with a coolant leak. Holdens: $1600 and a week to fix.
went to private mechanic about same issue. mechanic: $35 and 1 hour to fix.
Not to mention that my 3 month old battery was removed from my vehicle and then told that it needed replacing because it was old(they actually swapped my battery out with another so i found later on).
after 2+ months(with now another new battery and private mechanic fixed) not a single issue.
if you have minimal knowledge of cars and want to lose all of your money for nothing, go to holdens.
Well what a hopeless spare parts department. Very poor delivery times for parts. Delay after delay!!!!! Repair not even close to when they said they would fix it.Four days later, I went for a Holden dealer for service what a waste of money. Will never go back and will tell everybody to STAY AWAY!!!!!!
bought a "police taxi" it was a "certified used holden" cost 26 thousand. I lacked the car knowledge so didnt spot the obvious issues with the car but i shouldnt need to its been inspected by peter page and i thought i could trust peter page and certified used holden vehicle. I found issues with the trans being very worn and chunks of metal found, left sideskirt discoloured and glows a different colour at night. steering jolts and pulls left over bumps and body twisted. handbrake worn locked pads and wouldnt properly release. car mustve had an impact to the front left side. this car belongs in a car auction not a dealer i just cant trust dealers anymore.
My partner bought a used vehicle that has had nothing but problems, metal chunks in the trans, discoloured side skirt, steering pulls hard over bumps, handbrake locked on and worn trans that was certified used holden and price 26 thousand. Anyone who works with cars everyday couldve noticed some of those problems. A dealer team member gave a reason that they get those at a mass auction and cant know the condition of the car if was impacted or thrashed but dont they inspect at the dealer and certify if all checks pass
