Not sure how you can stay in business with service like this. Was after a quick roadworthy for my bike sale. Mechanic sighted my bike and gave me a verbal list of a couple of issues to be fixed and assured me the roadworthy would be done the next day. Dropped my bike off again in the morning and recieved no communication until I dropped by late in the afternoon to pickup. Bike had not been touched, (even the couple of things we had agreed must be done), but there was a significant list of other parts required... aparently. They had not bothered to called me, or even sourced prices for the parts supposedly required. They generously offered not to charge me, (for having done nothing), and offered to hold onto my bike for a few more days to get more parts and fix everything. I immediately took my bike up the road to the Honda dealer, recieved excellent service, none of the extra parts were required, and roadworthy was supplied without any hastles.
Peter Steven's were a complete rip-off. I took my bike their three times, paid over $2500 all-up and each time I left I'd experience the same problems only a few weeks later. I've spoken two of my friends who took their bikes to Peter Stevens in Ferntree Gully as well and they said they hadn't gotten what they'd paid for either. If you want a mechanic for your bike, overlook Peter Stevens FTG.
