Waldo has returned for a rare update, i usually don't go back to where i have been...unimpressed.



Though credit where credit is due and today i had to pick up some goodies and i was pressed for time. Salad was the fair, to have with some marinated Kangaroo steak.



Pumpkin and ricotta, Beetroot and pumpkin and quinhua salad were very tasty and a great accompaniment for the Kangaroo.



Quinhua is a 'Wonder grain' they say. Lovely dressing enveloping this crunchy been sprout type grain, together with the pumpkin , beetroot and the sweet Kangaroo the meal was fantastic.



Service had improved, girls were pleasant and helpful explaining what the quinhua was and the correct containers were on hand. I'm not raving about the deli, but there was a marked improvement and worthy of a few complimentary words.

Has this lovely little Deli changed ownership or similar since Christmas 2010??

Come on staff be helpful and get to know your produce or did your hand throw in a couple hundred grams of that lesser quality ham on purpose??

Salads are wonderful and thats what has got the 2 Stars. Please find more lids for the containers, one hint...If someone askes for a small and you want to put it in a medium container make sur it has some volume just as the over packed small container has.
