Disgraceful. I specifically asked the agent if there were any other offers on a property that I wanted to buy and she said "no". I then submitted and offer on the property and then just a few hours later she accepted an offer from somebody else without even fulfilling her legal obligation to make sure I was aware that there was now a multiple offer situation and giving me an oppurtunity to make another offer knowing that there are now multiple offers. I have now missed out on a property that I wanted to buy because the agent couldn't even be bothered to call us. She did send an email to my work email (after hours on a Friday) telling me that there is a multiple offer situation and asking me to acknowledge that I was aware of the situation and then sent me another email less than one hour later saying that the sellers had accepted another offer.
