I was sent to Wonthaggi to use the MRI machine there. I was not told their MRI machine was not registered at Cowes where I first presented nor at Wonthaggi when I went there for the MRI. I did not see nor was I given any literature that suggested to me that the MRI machine was not registered which meant that I could not claim a rebate

When dealing with this company be sure to ask if their MRI machine and/or service provider is registered with medicare before your MRI is done. If the MRI machine or service provider are not registered with medicare as was the case with my experience with this company you will not be able to claim any refund back through medicare.



This organisation claims that it verbally informs all clients prior to them performing an MRI that they will not be able to claim any money back from medicare as their MRI machine is not registered however, I was only given this information after I made a complaint and by then I had paid the account.
