Pho 236

I come here because it is BYO, cheap and convenient. This place has become the go to pre drinks place before we hit a night out in newtown. Whilst the food isn't spectacular, it is cheap and does the job before consuming silly amounts of alcohol - its sure to soak it all up!

Vietnamese ninja!!!

Quick and Cheap! The taste isnt there but for the price i guess its OK if you are into that!!! Their pho broth is lacking in depth and the aromatics are not present.

Their rice paper rolls were abit hard as if it was premade and left in the fridge.

The layout seems typical for an asian family restaurant with normal asian service LOL (lack off) But we did have our food!

Great for a quick and cheap meal. I don;t know how they keep the prices so low. It's ok quality Vietnamese food. It's run of the mill but always tasty. Don't come here if you're looking for trendy decor. It's very old school like a lot of places were in Newtown years ago. If you're in a hurry, come here but you wouldnt want to come here for a night!

So cheap, so tasty. Short menu of pho, vermicelli and other staples, yum yum. Very no frills decor but that's kind of half the fun. Rice paper rolls were a bit bland though.

Love how cheap and tasty the pho is here. They could put a bit more effort into making the place looks a bit less like a a shoebox though. Pho 236 and Happy Chef = best hang over eats
