Pho Hub

Eat here if you want your food prepared by people who smoke every 15 minutes and then handle your food without following safety standards. This happens throughout the time they are open, so there is no chance that food is not contaminated with many of the poisons in cigarette smoke. I have also witnessed staff smoking inside the restaurant when it is closed. This is an unhygienic and unsafe restaurant which has recently been visited and warned for the second time by officers from ACT Government Environmental Health.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in Canberra. Although Pho Hub is Vietnamese, it also serves dishes that would be served in a typical Chinese restaurant (their beef and black bean is delicious!) The decor and ambiance are funky, the staff are friendly, and the service is fast. All dishes are reasonably priced and there are plenty of choices, including around half-a-dozen vegetarian options. Quantities are substantial the large fried rice is VERY large indeed. Pho Hub is ideal for a romantic date, a tasty lunch, or a special dinner. The restaurant would especially suit functions for public servants, being situated close to the Immigration Department, Australian Bureau of Statistics, and other government agencies.
