Pho Hung Vuong 2

Good authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the area. Lots of menu selection as well. This place is quick and offers fresh meals. But like most Vietnamese restaurants, don't expect much table service.

Super cheap Pho. First time here this week and had the chicken vegetable pho. Very tasty and generous serve (went for medium and more than enough for sure). Whilst the setting is not that glamorous and the lighting is a little harsh the food is great value and service super quick.

I was recently here with my siblings for lunch, have been to various Hung Vuong chains in different locations before. This one is rather small, a family run business. There was a bit of a wait, although there were a few empty tables. The problem was there was 2 dinners on a large table of 5, and another 2 on another large table which held up the wait. Food wasnt too long to wait, probably less than 5 minutes. They have the Pho soup in 3 different sizes. We order all various sizes and different find much of a difference apart from more broth and more noodles; however the meat quantity remains the same. Its a cash only premises, which I constantly question how business particularly restaurant function these days. What I like about these chains particular if you know what you want, the service is fast and efficient with no long waits.

$8.50 for a small bowl of pho in a prime location of Richmond, what a bargain for my hungry tummy. For and extra $1 you can get a medium bowl which is pretty big in size. Speedy service. Probably within 10 mins of my order i received my bowl of pho. Super hot and fresh. Pho Hung Vuong 2 is very small inside but people come and go so quickly. Some people eat alone. takes them less than 30mins and its up and go. So the amount of customers entering and leaving is crazy. Not much of a wait if the restaurant is full. Given that people do wait, tells you that they don;t mind because the pho here is really good and worth it. I normally don't come into Richmond and i didn't want to walk the long strip of Victoria St so Pho Hung Vuong 2 was the first choice as i knew it would be quick and easy.
