We tried the cold rolls (with pork balls), paw paw salad with dried beef, salt and pepper tofu and beef pho with raw beef. Thr cold rolls were good, not as much herbage as I like but with the excellent sauce you didn't really notice. The salad was really good. The tofu was salt and peppery but it was a different style of tofu than I was expecting. The pho broth had good flavour but the meat was the tenderest that I've had. Beautiful. Nice decor and quick service.
When I think of Pho Restaurants I tend to think of cheap food and a rather okay atmosphere, so when I saw this place across the road from my Adelaide office I decided that I had to check it out at least once, particularly since I quite like Pho. However, when I walked into this place I was confronted with what looked like an incredibly high class place that didn't look like the type of place that you grab a quick bite to eat during your lunch break. However, despite the fact this the place looked incredibly flash, the food was still cheap, quite filling, and they brought it out pretty quicky as well. I probably wouldn't go as far as calling it a high class pho restaurant, but it is quite a nice place for lunch. Also the staff were incredibly friendly. I should mention that they have a $20.00 minimum on Visa purchases so make sure you bring cash.
