Our hot water has been a consistent (and somewhat chilly) 38C since we built our house 7 years ago. At the time our plumber who installed the Rheem hot water system for our house told us the system was factory set at a certain temperature. After moving into the house and experiencing 38C water we assumed when the kids were older we could easily increase the temperature but we accepted 38C was acceptable to prevent burns.
Well 7 years later, the kids were older and we really wanted hot showers so we opened up the hot water system only to find we couldn't increase the temperature. We then thought maybe something was wrong with the hot water system. We rang Rheem. The Rheem man checked our system and assured us it was working well. He believed we must have a cross contamination situation somewhere with cold water mixing with out hot water causing luke warm ...read more
We just have our hot water heater fixed by them. The work is quick. However, the repair men was so irresponsible. He moved away our washing machine to fix the heater and didn't move it back after the work is done. My mother who's 70years old has to move it back by herself afterwards and she found out the tap connector of washing machine is dripping water after that. It's really disappointed. I would never recommend it to my friends or family.
Parramatta Hot Water was called out to our new home as we were having some issues with our hot water.
They arrived quickly and were very friendly.
Even though it was something they couldn't fix themselves they provided us with step by step instructions on how to get it fix as soon as possible with electrical company I am with.
The receptionist was also very helpful when I called through as well.
Highly recommend!
Called them and had a new Rheem electric water heater installed two days ago. Very friendly installers, who came out within a couple of hours from my call in the worst possible weather. As the new heater was connected to off-peak electricity, we were told we would need to wait till midnight for off-peak electricity to kick in. Next morning we discovered that it didn't work. We found that the power switch wasn't turned on, so we turned it on and waited another day. Nope! The switch kept turning itself off! Now, the third day since the installation, we still have no hot water and we're waiting for them to come back and hopefully connect it properly. This morning I was told they would send someone today, but that they were very busy! I'll let you know if/when this gets fixed.
And in the meantime, we needed an electrician who immediately offered to replace our electric board at $1000.00 +, then agreed to only replace the power switch for the hot water heater at $300.00. Parramatta Hot Water Service installers also came, were very friendly again and we now have hot water. The problem we still have is it's not connected to off-peak electricity ad we'll need another electrician to ensure we're not using peak electricity! New heater $ 1500.00 *(Electric Rheem, 315 litres) + $ 360 for the electrician + ??? to connect it to off peak. My problem is that we assumed electrical connections will be a part of $ 1500 installation fee!
