I almost don't want to add a review, because this place is AMAZING and already so busy, I don't want to ever be unable to get a table! I visited here for the first time, and did not have the best start; a somewhat unfriendly waitress was a bit abrupt when informing me that at least half the group needed to be there before I was seated at a table for five. Even after a second person arrived, she hesitated, until I pointed out that I couldn't produce half a person to meet her requirements.
This initial experience evaporated the moment we were given our menus and met the funniest, friendliest and most helpful waitress I've come across in a long time. We celebrated Mario's birthday at cafe del Sol and were welcomed by a lovely waitress who appeared to genuinely enjoy her job. She was very knowledgeable with the menu, extremely helpful and attentive. The meals were delicious and enjoyed by all. Will definitely be coming back.
Ive been eating at this place for 20 years and it is the best place in perth for affordable authentic italian food , everything is gold, ravioli is great ,calabrese pizza is awesome and you cannot go past for dessert tiramisu ,the same owner is still there every night, lou you are god mate .
I agree that the tiramisu is fantastic, if nota bit too rich (I needed assistance to finish it!). The meals are great. The one thing gripe I have is that the menu prices are exclusive of GST, so you get to the till at the end of the night and have to pay more than anticipated - makes you feel a bit cheated.
