A keen eye might spot the fields where leeks, onions and cabbages used by the kitchen are grown; the apple and cherry orchards, the vineyards and wineries, many of which find their way on to the Piccadilly's extensive wine list. In summer you can sit outside and admire the view overlooking a kitchen garden and the terraced gardens.

Best restaurant I have EVER been to. We went on our wedding anniversary, and that is when you hope to have a good meal. We got that and more. Food was exquisite and i remember the vegetables were cooked perfectly, with beautiful fresh flavour. I think they were local. The wine was perfectly matched. We had Pike and Joyce pinot gris. That vintage was the best wine we had ever had(including available NZ varieties). The wine list was extensive and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable. The service we received was excellent. Attentive to our every need but not in our face all the time. You know good service when the waiter can read your mind about what you want before even YOU know it.
Could not fault this restaurant and we will continue to talk about it for years and recommend to friends, family and associates. 100%
