Piccolina Espresso

Cute little cafe outside the entrance to the hotel in Wolli Creek. I had an awesome açai bowl and chicken burger. I’ve been back again especially for the burger. They serve campos coffee, and little sweets and treats too.

A little cafe that serves a great coffee and has some very tasty menu options. Located in the Mercure complex and surrounded by a couple of apartment complexes, Piccolina is a great addition to the area. A sister store to Kafe Neo and Linea it is obvious that the family running these cafes has nailed the key elements to a good cafe. The manager is friendly and will talk to all customers, the coffee comes out quick and strong and the menu has a good set of options to eat in at the small tables/seats available or to grab and go. I sat and got the great looking, but even better tasting, cheeky chicken burger. Crispy chicken, bacon and specialty sauce on a fresh bun. Coupled with the Acai smoothie - this was a very filling and tasty meal. This place is worth dropping into - especially if you are in the area or crashing at the apartments nearby.
