A fine cafe experience. Location great, coffee good, staff unfriendly, bordering on rude. Miss charged for my macchiato and when questioned the advertised price on the board there was no apology, in fact nothing was said at all, but I was given the correct change back. Would I go there again? I'll see what else is about before rushing back.
I have been to Piccolo a few times as the location is great. I find the food very ordinary and the service "uninterested in the client" is the best way I can describe it. There is nothing friendly about it and nothing rude, it is a bit like going through a checkout at Woolies, pay for your food and go. Perhaps there is an in crowd who are looked after. C"mon how about a hello or "how are you today" or even a smile. Great location disappointing atmosphere, nice coffee. What is with the 2.30 closure???? Much prefer the Cafe at Campus Alpha, Robina, hasn't got the beach but has fantastic service and sensational coffee.
