Pickled Evenings

We were on Holiday from Melbourne and went to this restaurants based on the reviews. We would have to say this restaurants was lovely. Owner was very attentive to our needs and was extremely pleasant. Based on this we went twice within a week and believe it was one of the better restaurants in Launceston including Western.



Note: For all those Indian/Paki connoisseurs would recommend asking the chef to prepare in the traditional Indian style rather than Western if you prefer (ie butter chicken and chicken Marsala are very similar - sweet) When done the chef out did himself and we would place this restaurant in the type 5 best restaurants we have been too to date.

Quirky little Indian place that is obviously trying really hard. It's a bit noisy because it's very popular but the food was good and reasonably priced and little more interesting than the standard Indian menu.
